Jack Tripper by jcspenny
“This little guy is Jack Tripper. He has no eyes, but he gets along great! He’s perfectly healthy and happy, and the most playful kitten I’ve ever owned. I named Jack after John Ritter’s character on Three’s Company.
I got Jack a couple weeks ago. His mom is a barn cat at the barn my friend boards at. She’s partially spayed or something and every now and then has a single kitten. It’s usually deformed and, since this cat can’t produce milk, always dies. Jackers lucked out, though, because a few days before he was born their other barn cat had a litter. The barn owners put him in with those kittens and that mom nursed him like he was her own.
We were actually looking for a new barn cat when we got Jack. But when we heard about him, we knew we had to get him, but that he wouldn’t be safe as a barn cat. So Jack is my new indoor kitten. He loves to go for walks in the garden, though. It’s amazing to watch him. He has all his other senses if you didn’t look at his face you’d swear he could see. He even chase the flying bugs!” -
